Achievements

We have managed the PR campaigns to launch eleven Aman resorts since 2008 securing widespread print and online coverage with stand out features across all target media including the Financial Times, FT How to Spend it, Daily Telegraph, Conde Nast Traveller, Tatler, Harper’s Bazaar, House & Garden, Elle Decoration, Vanity Fair, Wallpaper and Brides.  The launch of Aman Tokyo in 2015 resulted in 104 articles in UK media in a 12 month period – the equivalent to over £2million in advertising value.

We have significantly raised awareness of Aman in the UK securing three prestigious Tatler Travel Awards and a Tatler Spa Award, three Wallpaper Awards, numerous Conde Nast Traveller Hot List inclusions, a lead House & Garden Hotels by Design feature and company profiles in the Financial Times Life & Arts Section, Telegraph Luxury and Billionaire.

We have raised the profile of SJ Villas by achieving coverage on their services in key publications.  Claire Wrathall in FT How to Spend it, said “As demand for extraordinary villa rentals intensifies; Sarah Hutchins and Judith Menier are two names whose numbers you might care to add to your Blackberry. Their company, SJ Villas, represents some of the most desirable privately owned holiday homes in Europe, The Caribbean and beyond.”
Tatler said: “Utterly approachable, charming and go-getting… they work incredibly hard and focus on villas in Europe, the Caribbean, Bali and South Africa. Some are on the web site, lots are kept in a secret drawer… if you’re looking for something specific and can’t find it… they’ll fix it for you.”

We carried out a targeted PR campaign for Trujillo Villas Espana, which grew the business by 51% in our first year.  Coverage was achieved in publications including the FT, Daily Telegraph, Guardian, Independent and Sunday Times.

We successfully launched new specialist sailing resort Nonsuch Bay in Antigua.  Mark Whinney, Marketing Director Nonsuch Bay Resort in Antigua said:  “Hill & Dean PR did a fantastic job launching Nonsuch Bay to the UK market.  With their extensive press connections they successfully established Nonsuch Bay in the minds of the UK media and gained valuable press coverage – in the Sunday Times and Daily Telegraph amongst others – that directly resulted in bookings. They also came up with creative ideas such as our Swallows & Amazons kids adventure, which hooked in the press once the launch was over.  They were an invaluable partner and I really valued their insight and feedback on the resort throughout the process.”

We worked with the Connaught Hotel in Mayfair to launch Aman’s first stand-alone spa.  In 2011 the Aman Spa at The Connaught was awarded the best London Spa at the Tatler Spa Awards and Spa of the Year at the Quintessentially Awards.

We have significantly raised the profile of Italian spa Lefay Resort & Spa on Lake Garda within the UK press.  It has been featured in the Conde Nast Traveller Spa Guide 2013 and 2016 and the Tatler Spa Guide 2016, which said:  “Lefay is, first and foremost, all about the food, the wine and the views.  So far so good.  But spa-wise, it’s a corker too.”  The resort made the Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Travel Awards list of top destination spas worldwide, for the first time in 2013 and has been listed in the top 20 ever since.

We grew the business for specialist tour operator, cazenove + loyd by 6% over a one year period, as a result of press coverage.  We achieved consistent achieved consistent coverage for cazenove+loyd in Conde Nast Traveller resulting in the company winning the Reader Award for Favourite Specialist Tour Operator and remaining in the top five for three years in a row.
